Knit and Crochet
I learned to knit when I was eight years old and taught myself to crochet two years later. I find great creative freedom in knitting and crochet, making them two of my favorite mediums to work with. In addition to using knitting and crochet to create, I am interested in the tradition of fiber craft and keeping the crafts alive.
The Harry Styles Cardigan
I knitted this sweater in the summer of 2020 after the designer J.W. Anderson released the pattern for it. This project brought me out of a creative rut and is my favorite sweater I have made!
The Cloud Sweater
This cardigan was inspired by the Lirika Matoshi cloud sweater. I created my own pattern for this cardigan, utilizing the tapestry crochet technique to do the color changes. My favorite parts are the balloon sleeves and shell stitch trim.
Striped Crochet Top
One day I was struck with the idea for a colorful, striped crochet top. I made up the pattern as I went.
